This week we continue unpacking the 2nd section of Penduka by exploring the 2nd letter of the PURPOSE acronym, U: Unearth the Picture.
What You’ll Hear:
- Like Alice (of Wonderland fame), as revealed in her convo with the Cheshire Cat, if you don’t know which way you’re going, the direction in which you travel doesn’t matter. But we do want to go places, which means our route does matter.
- When you know who you are, at your core, and have a pretty good idea of why you’re alive, your days take on a whole new level of meaning, and shift from monotonous and haphazard to intentional and focused.
- We’re usually standing too close to the canvas of our lives to get a grasp on the big picture of our purpose. We’ve got to step back, and then consistently apply brushstrokes to the canvas, removing the haze and exposing the image underneath.
- Think about your funeral. What do you want to be remembered for? What do you hope your loved ones will say? What will the way in which you lived your life say about what was most important to you? How will you have spent your time, energy and resources…and what will that say about what was most important?
- Our legacy is that which we pass on to others; the spiritual and emotional treasure we leave behind and are remembered by. What will your legacy be?
