Penduka, an Otjiherero word from Joy’s home country of Namibia, means “wake up!“.
This podcast, and the book it’s inspired by, is an invitation to wake up your soul. A bold call to dismantle that inner snooze button and start living life fully alive.
Welcome to the very first episode of The Penduka Podcast.
Huzzah! Break out the jazz hands, the pinot noir, and the confetti, ya’ll!
It only took me 19 years to fulfill this little dream…and almost 2 years to gain the courage to actually put something out into the airwaves. You would think speaking to crowds of people over the years (airing all sorts of horribly awkward laundry) would prepare me for speaking into a microphone in the comfort of my studio, all by myself. But it did not. So there’s that.
On a more professional note, each of these “blogcasts” (blog overviews of the podcast episode) will include:
- a brief overview of what the episode was about
- any links to books, people or websites referenced during the episode
- and a link to download your freebie for the week.
